French side Marseille are looking to add more firepower to their ranks and have already set their sights on AS Roma striker Seydou Doumbia, according to L’Equipe.
The French media outlet is reporting that Marseille officials have already contacted the Ivorian striker, who had previously expressed his interest in moving to the Premier League.
Doumbia returned to CSKA Moscow on a season-long loan following his unsuccessful spell in the Italian Serie A. Flamboyant forward was quick to rediscover his form with the Russian giants having scored 11 goals in 17 matches since his return to Moscow.
West Ham are believed to be interested in acquiring his services, but Marseille hope to beat Hammers to the signature of AS Roma striker.
The French and the Italian club have reportedly opened the negotiations and Marseille are willing to take the player on loan with without a purchase option.
L’Equipe also reports that Marseille are interested in Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore adding that the 20-year-old attacking midfielder looks set for loan exit from Stamford Bridge.
