Marseille are considering a summer bid for Montpellier midfielder Morgan Sanson, according to L’Equipe.
The French giants have set out to find a replacement for Gianelli Imbula, and have so far been linked with Benjamin Stambouli, N’Golo Kante and Lassana Diarra.
However, Marseille are also keeping tabs on Morgan Sanson and have enquired about the possibility of signing the 20-year-old footballer.
The Montpellier starlet exploded onto the big stage last term, scoring 6 goals in 32 league appearances, but he was unfortunate to suffer a cruciate knee ligament injury in April and is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
But, seeing as Sanson could return into action by September, Marseille might decide to take a gamble with the France Under-21 hotshot.
OM have been very active in the summer transfer window and have so far added the likes of Karim Rekik, Bouna Sarr, Yohann Pele, Lucas Ocampos and Georges Kevin N’Koudou to their ranks.
