French giants Marseille are hot on the trail of Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan Garrido, according to Estadio Deportivo.
OM are set to stay without long-serving shot-stopper Steve Mandanda, who will be leaving when his contract expires at the end of the season.
And the latest reports suggest they have chosen Real Betis hotshot Antonio Adan as his long-term successor.
Estadio Deportivo claims that Marseille are prepared to match the player’s €8 million release clause and offer him a lucrative four-year deal.
Antonio Adan, who had come through the youth ranks at Real Madrid and also enjoyed a short spell with Cagliari, has relished the prospect of playing regular football at Real Betis for the first time in his career.
Adan made a total of 86 league appearances for los Verdiblancos, but his two and a half year spell appears to be drawing to a close.
