French giants Marseille are among the favourites to land AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, L’Equipe can reveal.
It is no secret that l’OM have been trying to agree a deal for the Colombian footballer, but they have yet to make a breakthrough.
The good news is that AC Milan seem to have decided to cash in on Bacca as Vincenzo Montella confirmed the player would not be in contention for the Europa League qualifier vs CSU Craiova.
Marseille were also looking at Fiorentina’s Nikola Kalinic, but the Croatian forward is closer to joining the Rossoneri at the moment.
L’OM did well to reinforce their ranks over the last year or so and they also strengthened their front line with Valere Germain, but they are clearly looking to add another high-profile striker to their ranks.
