Marseille plan summer swoop for Cvitanich

Le Parisien has suggested that Marseille are hoping to recruit Argentine striker Dario Cvitanich from Nice in the summer transfer window.

The French giants have opted against making any high-profile signings in January, but they are already thinking about summer recruitments.

According to Le Parisien, Marseille hope to add Nice striker Dario Cvitanich to their ranks in the summer transfer window.

OM officials have been impressed by the 29-year-old attacker, who has been in scintillating form since joining Nice from Ajax in August 2012.

Cvitanich established himself as one of league’s most prolific strikers, having bagged 26 goals in 47 league outings for les Aiglons.

And with his current deal due to expire in June 2015, Marseille are hoping a €5 million bid will prove sufficient.

OM haven’t really impressed in the first part of the season, but they, nonetheless, look a good bet at 4/7 to defeat struggling Valenciennes at Stade Velodrome.
