Ligue 1 high-flyers Marseille appear set to reignite their interest in Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya, El Mundo Deportivo has learned.
It is no secret that OM boss Marcelo Bielsa is a big fan of the 23-year-old footballer, and he reportedly attempted to lure him to Stade Velodrome last summer.
And with Montoya still hoping to quit Camp Nou in search of first team football, the Argentine is set to launch a fresh assault.
The youngster has a contract until June 2018 with the Catalans and a €20 million release clause, but he should be available for a lot less.
Montoya has been disappointed by the lack of first team opportunities since Luis Enrique took over the reigns, having made just three league appearances this season.
After winning the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-final clash with Atletico, Barcelona are available at 5/6 to lift the coveted title this term.
