French giants Marseille have reignited their interest in Glasgow Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to La Provence.
L’OM officials decided to turn their attention back to the Frenchman after missing out on top target Carlos Bacca.
Marseille believe that Dembele could be a perfect addition to the squad, where he would challenge summer recruit Valere Germain for a starting berth.
The 21-year-old, who is currently sidelined through injury, has been heavily linked with a Premier League switch, but his employers have so far failed to receive a suitable offer.
And with Dembele confirming that he hopes to break into the France national team ahead of the 2018 World Cup, a move to Marseille could be a perfect opportunity to make himself visible to head coach Didier Deschamps.
The striker impressed during his debut season at Parkhead, bagging 32 goals in 51 competitive appearances.
