Marseille have made a breakthrough in their attempt to sign French defender Adil Rami from Sevilla, France Football has suggested.
L’OM have been hot on his trail for quite some time, but they recently decided to step up their interest.
According to France Football, Marseille have now agreed personal terms with Rami, while they have opened talks with Sevilla over a transfer fee.
Los Rojiblancos reportedly want €6 million for the 31-year-old footballer who has another two years left on his deal.
Marseille are keen to shake up their defensive options this summer and Rudi Garcia hopes to get reunited with the player he worked with at Lille.
L’OM are also believed to be keen on Bacary Sagna, Jeremy Mathieu and Laurent Koscielny, among other players.
