French newspaper L’Equipe is reporting that Marseille stars Nicolas N’Koulou and Andre Ayew will not be leaving the club in the winter transfer window.
The two players are followed by top European clubs and will almost certainly be leaving OM in the near future, but a January exit seems unlikely.
Namely, even if Marseille could decide to offload several players in January, the star duo will not be among those to leave.
On top of that, neither player wants to move clubs just six months ahead of the 2014 World Cup, meaning the interested sides will have to wait at least until the summer.
Fifth-placed Marseille travel to Stade Gerland to face Lyon later today and they are 5/2 to emerge victorious.
And while Nicolas N’Koulou is set to keep his place in the side, Andre Ayew continues to miss out with a knee problem and will not be returning until January.
