French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Marseille winger Dimitri Payet could be sold in the summer transfer window.
The French giants plan to offload a number of high-profile players in the summer in order to improve their financial situation, but the France international was not among those expected to leave.
Nevertheless, L’Equipe has learned that Marseille will cash in on Payet if they receive an offer they cannot refuse.
And the same source has suggested that such a proposal might just arrive this summer, with some Premier League giants keen on his services.
Dimitri Payet, 27, joined Marseille from Lille a year ago and he has been in fine form this season, having managed 8 goals and 6 assists in 36 Ligue 1 outings.
He should be in the starting line-up on the final day of the season when Marseille host Guingamp, with OM priced at 4/9 to end the league campaign with a win.
