French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille have expressed interest in signing Juventus defender Mehdi Benatia in the summer.
The 29-year-old defender is currently playing with Bianconeri on loan from Bayern Munich, but has not been involved as much as he would have liked which led to speculation that the Morocco international could be set for another move at the end of the season.
Although he has only made eight Serie A performances thus far in the season, Benatia remains dedicated to the Italian champions, explaining that he ‘only sees future with Juventus’.
According to the latest reports coming from the French media outlet Le 10 Sport, Juventus are planning to exercise the option to buy Benatia’s contract despite the fact Morocco defender has only been used sporadically by the Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Apart from Olympique Marseille, Juventus’ Serie A rivals Napoli have also expressed interest in acquiring Mehdi Benatia’s services.
