Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Marseille are set to turn Mauricio Isla’s loan deal into permanent move.
The Chilean joined OM on loan with an option to buy in the summer, and he has done enough to persuade the club officials that he deserves a long-term contract.
As a result, Marseille are almost certain to trigger a €7 million buy-out clause before the current season comes to an end.
OM chiefs will soon meet with their Juventus counterparts to not only discuss the future of Isla, but also those of Mario Lemina and Paolo De Ceglie.
Chances are that Juventus will make Mario Lemina’s stay in Turin permanent for €10 million, whereas Paolo De Ceglie is unlikely to remain at Stade Velodrome beyond the current campaign having started mere three league fixtures since joining the club.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Isla quickly nailed down a regular starting berth and went on to make 18 league appearances, scoring one goal.
