French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Marseille would settle for a fee in the region of €4m to €5m for star midfielder Lassana Diarra.
Despite signing a four-year deal at Stade Velodrome last summer, the footballer believes he can leave on a free transfer this summer due to a clause in his contract, but OM chiefs do not seem to feel the same way.
They are, however, ready to consider offers in the region of €4m-€5m, which is definitely a small price to pay for the highly rated midfielder.
Turkish giants Galatasaray appear to have emerged as the main candidates for his signature, and they seem prepared to match Marseille’s asking price.
Lassana Diarra has been in excellent form ever since he returned to France, and he would have probably been a starter for Les Bleus at the Euro 2016 finals if it hadn’t been for the knee injury that ruled him out of the tournament.
