Boudewijn Zenden said Marseille had expected their trip to the Parc des Princes on Sunday to be “hell on Earth,” but the Dutchman’s man-of-the-match display ensured the ‘classico’ turned into a bad dream for Paris Saint-Germain.
“Before the game, I said that we were coming into hell on Earth, and the only thing to do was to stay solid, keep together and work for each other. That’s what made the difference,” said the 32-year-old”.
“We’re very happy – we did what we had to do, given that we already knew the results of the other games. Now, the league is wide open.”
