Marseille striker Mamadou Niang is set to complete an eight-million euros move to Istanbul giants Fenerbahce, according to reports in the Turkish press Sunday.
Sengalese striker Niang topped the French top flight scoring charts with 18 goals last season as Marseille finally ended their long wait for the league crown.
Although his current contract runs until 2014, reports in Hurriyet and Vatan said the striker, following talks held between the clubs in Paris on Saturday, has agreed a three to four year deal with an annual salary of 2.5 million euros.
According to Vatan the 31-year-old will be unveiled by the Istanbul club on Friday. Fenerbahce were not immediately available to confirm the reports.
Fenerbahce recently signed another Senegalese striker in Issiar Dia.
French-born Dia, 23, was signed on a four-year contract from French Ligue 1 side Nancy.
