Martial set to extend stay at Manchester United

According to reports in France, Anthony Martial is now open to the idea of remaining at Manchester United after initially rejecting the idea of staying at Old Trafford. Martial scored twice against Chelsea at the weekend to take the Red Devils to within a few minutes of claiming a huge victory over the Blues, but regardless of the draw, it seems as if it was a big moment in the career of the Frenchman at United.

He appears to have mended fences with manager Jose Mourinho over the course of the last few weeks, which could be a big moment in the Portuguese boss’ future at the club. Martial was once reluctant to extend his stay at United beyond 2019, but now, he’s more open to the idea as they slowly try and claw their way back from the ‘brink’ so to speak.

United’s next game will be tomorrow against Juventus, who are said to be interested in signing Marital.
