Already booking their promotion to League A, Denmark will look to carry on their unbeaten run when they host a struggling Ireland side on Monday night.

Starting with the hosts, enjoying a very bright post-World Cup run since their penalties defeat to evtual finalists Croatia, Åge Hareide has seen his side already secure their spot in League A next time around. Picking up a 2-1 win over Wales earlier in the week, Denmark are now unbeaten in their last four and have conceded just one goal on that run. Impressing defensively, the Danes have also shown some very eye-catching form in the final third. Scoring two goals in three of their last four, one man to watch for the hosts will be Middlesbrough forward Martin Braithwaite. Scoring against Ryan Giggs’ side in midweek, the 27-year-old now has two in his last two on international duty.

As for the visitors, it is quickly looking like Martin O’Neil’s time in charge of Ireland is coming to an end. With rumors of plenty of issues behind the scenes, they have managed to pick up just one point so far in the tournament and have already been relegated. Putting in yet another woeful showing in their 0-0 draw with bitter-rivals Northern Ireland in the week, Ireland have now recorded just one win in their last 10 matches across all competitions. The visitors have also lost three of their last four on the road and have conceded five goals in their last two meetings against Denmark.
