Spanish media outlet Marca has learned that Real Betis are set to complete the loan signing of Martin Montoya.
The talented full-back joined Inter Milan on loan with an obligatory buy-out clause, which would become active in case the defender featured in at least 33 percent of the competitive matches.
But, with Montoya having only made four outings for the Nerazzurri, the Italian side have no intention of purchasing his contract and will allow him to leave this month.
According to Marca, Real Betis are ready to take the player on loan until the end of the season.
Not so long ago, Martin Montoya was regarded one of Barcelona’s hottest prospects, but his career has taken a turn for the worse of late.
The Spaniard will now attempt to rediscover his form at Estadio Benito Villamarin, although chances are that he will not be returning to Camp Nou when the current season comes to an end.
