Martinez puts pressure on Inter Milan

According to a recent report from Sport, Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez has been heaping the pressure onto the shoulders of Barcelona in an attempt to facilitate a move away from the Italian club.

Barca’s pursuit of Martinez has already been ongoing for months now, with many wondering if and when it’s going to come to an end. He’s clearly a talented goalscorer, but at the same time, Barca are quite obviously throwing all of their eggs into one basket as they go after what many believe to be the natural successor to the outgoing Luis Suarez.

Inter are building quite the operation themselves at the San Siro, with manager Antonio Conte looking towards a whole host of new players this summer. Whether or not he even wants to keep Martinez on the books, given how much Barcelona are willing to invest, is a question that many fans will continue to debate.
