Martinez to wait for Barcelona switch

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez is willing to wait until the start of the 2020/21 campaign before making the jump over to Spain to join Barcelona.

The saga involving Martinez has been ongoing for quite some time now, to the point where many believe it is only a matter of time before his move to the Nou Camp is formally announced.

We all know there’s going to be a pretty short period of time between the current season ending and the next one getting underway, and because of that, it feels as if Inter and Barca want to see how things shape up in the next few weeks before jumping into any kind of concrete decision.

Martinez may as well already have his bags packed based on what we’ve seen so far, but you never know what kind of twists and turns could happen at the eleventh hour.
