Mason Greenwood to join Barcelona?

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood is about to move to Barcelona, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Barcelona are close to tie up a deal that will see him switch to Camp Nou in the summer of 2024.

Greenwood joined Getafe on loan from Manchester United in the summer of 2023 and is scheduled to stay at the La Liga club until the summer of 2024. The Sun has claimed that Barcelona have been following the 22-year-old forward and has been impressed by him. The English youngster himself is keen on a switch to Barca.

The forward has made 13 starts and three substitute appearances in La Liga for Getefe so far this season. Greenwood has scored three goals and given four assists in those games. Barcelona are third in the La Liga table at the moment with 44 points from 20 matches, eight points behind leaders Girona, who have played 21 games.
