Mason set for Wolves return

Midfielder Joe Mason is set to return to Wolverhampton Wanderers after his Colorado Rapids tenure was cut short. Mason, 27, was initially loaned out to the MLS club the start of the year, but it seems as if Wolves could be interested in utilising him throughout the 2018/19 campaign – or at the very least, for the start of it. Mason wasn’t really considered to be a first team starter courtesy of the wealth of talent in his position at Molineux, but now, that could all change.

The club’s fanbase will be eager to see more young and hungry Englishmen coming through the ranks, and Mason fits that criteria perfectly. He’s an established talent in this country and also had some joy in America, showcasing what he can really do. Wolves are set to kick off their Premier League season in just a few short weeks against Everton, followed by a trip to Leicester City.
