Juan Mata says that he is happy at Chelsea despite him being strongly linked with a move away from the club this summer, the Metro understands.
The two-time Blues Player of the Year has featured in just one of the clubs four games so far this season, though both he and manager Jose Mourinho have denied rumours of a rift.
A number of Premier League sides, Paris Saint Germain and former club Valencia were all said to be interested in securing the midfielder’s services during the transfer window.
However the Spain international, who has won the Champions League, FA Cup and Europa League since arriving from La Liga two years ago, is keen to add more honours to that collection, under the guidance of Mourinho.
The 25 year old was left out of the Spain squad for the forthcoming internationals against Finland and Chile, though he has managed an impressive eight goals in twenty-nine appearances for his country.
