Mathieu Debuchy linked with Ligue 1 return

Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy could be returning to France this winter, Telefoot can reveal.

The experienced defender has only featured in Cup competitions this season and it is clear that he has no long-term future in North London.

Debuchy does have another 18 months left on his contract, but a winter exit appears on the cards.

According to Telefoot, Saint-Etienne hope to bring the 32-year-old back to France in the January window, after doing the same with former Sunderland midfielder Yann M’Vila.

Les Verts have shown a great deal of ambition in the winter transfer window and Mathieu Debuchy is their latest target.
