The Daily Mirror is reporting that Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels may be leaving the Bundesliga in the winter transfer window.
It is no secret that the Germany star is on the radar of Manchester United and few more top clubs, although it is believed he would not be available for less than £45 million.
And while he has so far resisted temptation to leave the Millionaires, Hummels might change his mind due to Dortmund’s shocking form this season.
The 26-year-old did not hide his disappointment with team’s performances after the 2-1 defeat to Werder Bremen that left BVB in the relegation zone ahead of the winter break.
Hummels has proved to be one of club’s best signings in recent years, having joined from arch rivals Bayern Munich for some £3.5 million and going on to become one of world’s top central defenders.
Despite their early season struggles, Borussia can still be backed at 9/1 to achieve a top 4 finish in Bundesliga.
