Mats Hummels welcomes Juventus interest

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels admits he is flattered by the reported interest from Juventus.

The Bianconeri are searching for a new central defender and they have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund stalwart.

The Old Lady sporting director Fabio Paratici watched Hummels in action as Borussia faced Arsenal at the Emirates last week.

“I am honoured that Juventus are interested in me,” Hummels was quoted as saying in Tuttosport.

“Knowing such an important club wants to sign me is very exciting and forces me to ask myself some questions.

“I can see myself playing abroad, even if at the moment I am concentrated on Borussia. Who wouldn’t want to play for Juve?”
