AC Milan are lining up a summer bid for Torino full-back Matteo Darmian, reports Tuttosport.
While Ignazio Abate continues to be linked with a move away from the club, the Rossoneri are reportedly on the lookout for a new right-sided defender.
And they are now being linked with Torino right-back Matteo Darmian, who came through the youth ranks at San Siro.
After making just four league appearances for the Rossoneri and enjoying some success while on loan at Padova, Darmian was sold to Palermo, but it appears club officials have lived to regret that decision.
Following a disappointing season at Renzo Barbera, the 24-year-old joined Torino and has since seen his stock rise a great deal.
Darmian immediately nailed down a regular starting berth at Stadio Olimpico and is went on to become regarded as one of league’s best right-backs.
Meanwhile, Torino are enjoying one of the most successful seasons in recent years, with Granata 8/11 to continue the impressive run against Atalanta.
