Matthijs de Ligt wants Ajax exit

Ajax starlet Matthijs de Ligt is reportedly looking to leave Amsterdam ArenA in the summer, De Telegraaf has suggested.

The 18-year-old centre-back has become one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers, and there are quite a few top clubs keen on his services.

According to reports, the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester City and Tottenham are all showing interest in De Ligt.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claims that the youngster has been swayed by interest from European powerhouses and he plans to leave for greener pastures at the end of the season.

Despite his fragile age, De Ligt has already made 44 Eredivisie appearances for Ajax, scoring 5 goals in the process.
