Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AC Milan could offload full-back Mattia De Sciglio at the end of the current season.
Widely regarded as one of Italy’s hottest prospects, the 23-year-old has struggled to live up to the billing and has now also lost his place in the starting line-up at San Siro.
Despite being able to operate on either side of defence, De Sciglio finds himself behind Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonelli in the pecking order.
Nevertheless, he is still held in high regard by top European sides, with Barcelona and Juventus reportedly hot on his trail.
De Sciglio will probably be given a chance to prove his worth, but AC Milan may be tempted into selling the Italy international in the summer transfer window.
The highly rated full-back has so far amassed 78 Serie A appearances, while earning no fewer than 22 Italy caps and featuring at the 2013 Confederations Cup and 2014 World Cup finals.
