Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi could be joining Juventus in the January transfer window, according to Tuttosport.
The Frenchman recently admitted he was hoping to sign for the Bianconeri in the summer, but the deal ultimately failed to materialise.
Nevertheless, there is a good chance that Juventus will rekindle their interest in the winter considering that they failed to recruit a holding midfielder in the summer.
The Bianconeri have decent options in Stefano Sturaro, Mario Lemina and Kwadwo Asamoah, but they want Matuidi as well.
While the France international remains an important part of the squad at Parc des Princes, the 29-year-old appears to have set his sights on leaving for a top European league, and he will be hoping the two clubs reach an agreement over the transfer fee.
Juventus are also in pole position to sign Axel Witsel from Zenit, and there is a chance both will move to Turin in the winter.
