(GSM) – Midfielder Maurice Edu has been passed fit for Rangers’ Premier League clash against Heart of Midlothian on Sunday.

American international Edu limped out of the midweek goalless draw at Dundee United, but returned to training following the Tannadice clash and will be in the Sunday’s matchday squad.

Elsewhere, Walter Smith has no fresh injury worries ahead of the game with the Gers well aware that if Celtic don’t beat Hibs on Saturday, then three points against the Jambos will seal the SPL title.

Sunday’s game will come too soon though for Andrius Velicka, despite the forward returning to training after suffering knee ligament damage back in August.
