Valencia and Villarreal are among clubs weighing up moves for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, according to Sport.
The Argentine forward only joined the Nerazzurri in the summer from Sampdoria, but he has had a difficult start to his career at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Due to a string of injuries, Icardi has failed to start a single Serie A game, although he did manage to score 2 goals in 8 substitute appearances.
And with his first team chances limited at the moment, the 20-year-old may be leaving Inter on loan until the end of the season.
According to Sport, Valencia, Villarreal and Wigan Athletic are all hoping to sign Icardi in the January transfer window.
It remains to be seen if Inter will be prepared to let the player leave this month, but it looks as though a loan deal would benefit all the parties involved.
The Nerazzurri face Genoa away later today and they are available at 17/20 to claim maximum points.
