Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport is reporting that several European giants are showing interest in Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
The 21-year-old has been thoroughly impressive since arriving from Sampdoria and the Nerazzurri now face a real battle to keep hold of his services.
According to Tuttosport, the likes of Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are keen on the Argentine forward, although chances are the two sides will not be making their interest concrete before the summer.
Inter Milan chiefs plan to offer the youngster a new long-term deal until June 2019 and they are set to meet with his representatives.
However, seeing as Icardi is probably the club’s most expensive player at the moment, the Nerazzurri would probably consider any serious offer for the Argentine so that they could improve the financial situation at the club.
The talented forward has been bagging goals for fun this term, netting 14 times in 26 competitive appearances.
