West Ham United are on the verge of signing Max Kilman from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that West Ham have had a bid of £40 million for Kilman accepted, and that the defender will undergo a medical on Friday to complete his move to London Stadium.
Football Insider has claimed that Kilman has already reached a full agreement on personal terms with West Ham. Julen Lopetegui, who was appointed the West Ham manager earlier this summer, worked with Kilman when he was in charge of Wolves and was keen for the 27-year-old to join him at the Hammers.
Kilman has been on the books of Wolves since 2018 and has established himself as one of the best and most important players for the Wanderers. The Englishman has scored three goals, given one assist, and kept 31 clean sheets in 127 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
