Sport Bild is reporting that Spanish giants Barcelona are hot on the trail of Schalke starlet Max Meyer.
The Catalans haven’t got money to spend in January, but they will be making important additions to the squad in the summer transfer window.
According to Sport Bild, Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Schalke midfielder Max Meyer with a view of luring him to Camp Nou in the near future.
With the 20-year-old priced at €12 million, the Catalans believe he represents good value for money and are ready to make their interest concrete.
Meyer is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out of youth ranks at Veltins Arena in recent years and he already has 79 Bundesliga appearances to his name.
The attacking midfielder has so far scored no fewer than 13 top flight goals, and he clearly has a great future in the game.
