Max Meyer set for Schalke exit

Sport Bild has learned that Schalke starlet Max Meyer is certain to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.

The central midfielder will be out of contract at in June and he has decided to reject a mega money offer from his current employers.

Just like his teammate Leon Goretzka, who has agreed a deal with Bayern Munich, Meyer plans to leave Schalke for greener pastures in the summer.

The highly rated youngster has so far been linked with quite a few top sides, including Barcelona, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, but he has yet to make a decision on his future.

The 22-year-old has amassed a total of 143 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 17 goals, since coming through the youth ranks.
