Italian champions Juventus are reportedly hot on the trail of Wolfsburg midfielder Maximilian Arnold, Sport Bild has suggested.
The Bianconeri were impressed with the player’s performances at the Under-21 European Championship last summer and they continue to monitor his displays.
Juventus had scouts present as Wolfsburg played out a 3-3 draw with Hertha ahead of the international break, which could suggest they are ready to step up their interest.
Arnold has a deal until June 2020 with the Wolves, but he recently admitted he was thinking about a big club move.
The 23-year-old has managed 23 goals and 13 assists in 171 competitive outings since coming through the youth ranks at Wolfsburg.
But, with the Wolves again involved in a difficult relegation tussle, Arnold appears to be looking for a way out.
