Lyon winger Gnaly Maxwell Cornet is reportedly a target for Bundesliga outfit FC Koln, according to Bild.
The 21-year-old has shown a great deal of potential after arriving from Metz, going on to score 14 goals in 74 Ligue 1 outings for the club.
His promising showings did not go unnoticed as FC Koln attempted to sign him in the summer, offering €15 million for his services.
Lyon rejected said offer as they clearly believe Cornet has the potential to develop into a high-quality footballer, although the winger has since started just one of seven league fixtures.
And with FC Koln still eager to reinforce their ranks, chances are they will rekindle their interest ahead of the January window.
European football returns to Koln for the first time in 25 years as the Billy Goats face Red Star Belgrade in Europa League, and they are 7/10 to claim maximum points.
