Maxwell could join Milan

Inter left-back Maxwell’s agent has revealed the former Ajax star could join city rivals AC Milan in the summer.

The Brazilian is keen on leaving the Nerazzurri after falling down the peeking order in Jose Mourinho’s team.

“I think that Maxwell’s Inter adventure is over,” agent Mino Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.

“He is the best left-back in Europe and there are always offers – we haven’t been short of those even this year.

“The relationship with the club is honest and for now I don’t see Maxwell being there next year.

“I wouldn’t discount Milan as a possible destination. He still has another year on his contract, but if both clubs agreed then why not?

“However, I do think it would be easier for Maxwell to go abroad to find another employer.”
