Opening Saturday’s showdown at Selhurst Park sat just two points adrift of breaking back into the top-10, it should be noted that Palace have continued to shine on home soil. Including a stunning 3-0 win against leading Champions League contenders Arsenal on April 4th, this weekend’s hosts are unbeaten in each of their previous six matchups in south London, a run that stems back to the middle of February. On the flip side, throwing away the lead in a woeful fashion last week and eventually hit with a 2-1 loss at home against Burnley, it looks like Watford are freefalling their way out of the Premier League. With their fate set to be confirmed at Selhurst Park, Roy Hodgson’s men have lost each of their last five top-flight outings. Likewise, picking up three points from their last eight domestic matchups, we’re backing a home victory here in what could be an enjoyable meeting.

15:00 Mansfield vs Forest Green

Knowing that they can finally secure their play-off spot this weekend, Mansfield will be desperate to sign off their regular-season run with a flurry on home soil here. Despite having to settle for a lively 2-2 draw away at Salford last time out, Saturday’s hosts have continued to show a string of improvements throughout the 2021/22 campaign. Despite spending the whole of last season looking over their shoulder at the drop zone, the Stags have collected seven points from their last three League One outings. Likewise, it should also be noted that the east Midlands outfit have gained a real reputation for their success at Field Mill. Last seen in front of their own supporters picking up a routine 2-0 victory against Stevenage, the one-time Burton boss has seen his side remarkably win 14 of their last 16 matchups on home soil. With their stellar hometown purple patch stemming all the way back to October 19th, they will be looking to cash in on a Forest Green side who do appear to have taken their eyes off the ball in recent weeks. Already wrapping up their spot in League One for next season, Saturday’s guests have managed to win just one of their previous six outings. Likewise, suffering back-to-back 2-1 and 3-1 losses against Swindon and Harrogate, we’re backing a home victory for the leading play-off contenders here.

19:45 Lazio vs Sampdoria 

Starting with Saturday’s hosts, while Lazio might have shown some extended inconsistencies this season, it appears that the Eagles are sat in pole position to clinch another European finish this season. Last seen picking up an action-packed 4-3 win away at Spezia, Head Coach Maurizio Sarri will be desperate for his side to end the 2021/22 campaign on a high. Appearing to have put their 2-1 defeat against AC Milan on April 24th behind them, the former Chelsea boss has seen his side lose just a pair of their last eight domestic contests. Smelling the chance to lay down a marker at the Stadio Olimpico here, there is no doubt that Lazio will be calling on attacking talisman Circo Immobile to spearhead their charge on Saturday night. Once again finding the net against Spezia last weekend, the Italian international has now racked up six goals in just his last four Serie A outings. Likewise, racking up a staggering 27 strikes in just his 30 top-flight outings this season, the 32-year-old will be looking to cash in on a Sampdoria side who have shown some extended issues on the road. Despite being last seen picking up a much-needed 1-0 win against Genoa, the Blucerchiati have managed to win just a pair of their last nine Serie A contests. It should also be noted, Saturday’s guests have recorded just a single victory on their travels since December 10th.
