Naples based SSC Napoli’s coach Walter Mazzarri says his side has won over the fans with two victories in two games in Serie A.
The Partenopei beat Fiorentina 1-0 on Sunday to record their first away win for almost a year.
Speaking to Radio Marte, Mazzarri said: “It makes me happy to have this response from the fans after just two games.
“The atmosphere before my arrival was depressed. There wasn’t any enthusiasm. Now everyone is pulling together and we have won back the fans in double quick time.â€
Mazzarri went on to talk about tomorrow night’s clash with a resurgent Milan, who are themselves on a three match winning streak in all competitions.
“Tomorrow there is a very important test. We have to recover our psycho-physical strengths because if we go on the pitch still thinking about the victory in Florence then we’ll get beaten.
“It’s a very difficult game. They are in form and have confirmed their quality in the last two matches,†Mazzarri concluded.
Napoli currently lie ninth in Serie A but could break into the top four if they beat Milan and results go their way over the next two days.
