According to Sky Sports, Kylian Mbappe claims his compatriot N’Golo Kante would fit in perfectly at Paris Saint-Germain.
Kante being French is one of the points made by the young winger to back his claim up, saying that it would be good for the domestic attractiveness of the League 1. He also adds that the Chelsea midfielder fits the current need of the team, both in terms of position and quality.
Kante has won the Premier League twice so far and with two different teams – Leicester City in 2016 and Chelsea in 2017, and he was of huge importance for both those teams in their respective title-winning campaigns. Therefore, there is very little doubt that he possesses enough quality to succeed anywhere, let alone in his own country.
But Chelsea will be hard put to it to keep their centre midfield area intact, with Monaco reportedly interested in resigning Tiemoue Bakayoko and West Ham preparing to go in for Danny Drinkwater. They are hardly likely to let Kante go just like that, as his current deal runs for three more years. However, Chelsea are set to miss out on next season’s Champions League and such development might make a few players, including Kante, think about their options.
