Russian daily newspaper Izvestia understands that Schalke and Hamburg are keen on Lokomotiv Moscow winger Mbark Boussoufa.
The 29-year-old was one of many high-profile players to leave Anzhi following drastic budget cuts in the summer and he eventually opted for Lokomotiv.
However, clubs from top European leagues remain keen on his services, as witnessed by the recent interest from Schalke and Hamburg.
Even so, Lokomotiv will not be eager to sell as they continue to fight for the Russian Premier League title.
Mbark Boussoufa has been in fine form since joining the club this summer, having managed 2 goals and 5 assists in 13 league matches.
The winger, who had played for Ajax and Chelsea at various youth levels, made a name for himself in Belgium, representing Gent and Anderlecht.
He also has 5 goals in 30 Morocco caps, but owns Dutch passport as well having been born in Amsterdam.
