Daily Mail understands that a host of Premier League sides are keeping close tabs on AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang.
The French forward spent last six months on loan at Montpellier, where he showed some promise, scoring 4 goals in 19 league outings.
He is now set to return to San Siro, but it is believed Milan officials do not count on him for the 2014/2015 season.
As a result, West Ham have opened talks with the Serie A side as they plan to sign the 19-year-old on a season-long loan.
Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton were also following Niang in the past, and they could reignite their interest in the summer transfer window.
M’Baye Niang is still regarded as one of Europe’s most talented attackers despite failing to impress at AC Milan, but he desperately need to be playing on regular basis if he is to realise his full potential.
