Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani has admitted he is flattered by the reported interest from Juventus.
It is no secret that the Bianconeri are still searching for a centre forward after failing to bring one in the summer transfer window, and the Congolese striker is reportedly on their transfer hit-list.
Milan, Fiorentina and Fulham are also keen on the 26-year-old, but when asked about the prospect of joining the Old Lady, Mbokani replied affirmatively.
“I’m flattered – it is a great club and I cannot remain indifferent,” the DR Congo international was quoted as saying in Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure.
“Yet there are other clubs who follow me, I’m sincere. In January? Nothing is decided, we will see. Now I’m focused on Anderlecht.”
The highly rated forward returned to Anderlecht last summer after leaving the club for Standard Liege in the summer of 2007.
Mbokani has kick-started his career following unsuccessful spells with Monaco and Wolfsburg, having bagged 17 goals in 31 league games for RSCA.
The player has already netted 8 times in 10 competitive games this season, thus proving he is rightly considered one of the most prolific strikers in European football.
