According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Weston McKennie has snubbed an advance from Premier League club Bournemouth.
The 24-year-old American, currently playing for Juventus, has been viewed as an intriguing prospect for quite some time now. The midfielder hasn’t been without his own personal controversies but in equal measure, he’s also put in some incredible performances for the Italian giants over the years.
Bournemouth, however, will not be where he lands, as he reportedly wants to hold out for a move to either Chelsea or Tottenham.
Both of the London clubs are in need of big changes during the January transfer window but whether or not McKennie is on their radar remains to be seen.
McKennie had some nice moments for the USMNT during the World Cup this past winter. Alas, attempting to get it done in the Premier League is a whole different ball game, as many players have come to learn.
