French winger Jeremy Menez has made it clear that he will be leaving his current employers at the end of the season.
The highly rated footballer will be out of contract in the summer and he has a long list of admirers among top European clubs.
Paris Saint-Germain were interested in extending his current deal and recently offered him a new contract, but Menez has revealed that he has opted against extending his stay at Parc des Princes.
“I have not reached an agreement for the extension,” Menez told Canal +. “It weighs my heart to have to leave this club.”
Jeremy Menez is widely tipped to make a switch to Italian Serie A, where Inter Milan, Juventus and few more top clubs are showing interest.
The 26-year-old has already enjoyed three successful seasons at AS Roma, and a return to Italy appears on the cards.
Since joining Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2011, the France international has made a total of 74 Ligue 1 appearances and scored 14 goals in the process.
