AC Milan forward Jeremy Menez could be returning to French Ligue 1 this summer, L’Equipe has suggested .
The Frenchman will probably be allowed to leave in the summer transfer window having entered the final year of his contract, and it would appear as though he has set his sights on returning to France.
The 29-year-old has already rejected a move to Guingamp, while Bordeaux could receive the same answer.
While les Girondins are keen on recruiting the former France international, they cannot really afford his €2.5 million yearly wages.
As a result, Menez is hoping that Monaco and Marseille will soon make their interest concrete and offer him a lucrative contract.
According to reports, OM are prepared to pay the forward €2 million per campaign, but only if the winger manages to negotiate mutual termination of his contract with AC Milan.
Jeremy Menez represented Sochaux, Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain in French Ligue 1, while also playing for AS Roma and AC Milan.
