French winger Jeremy Menez plans to leave AC Milan at the end of the season, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The 27-year-old has made instant impact at San Siro after joining on a free transfer last summer, and he has been the only shining light in an otherwise disappointing season for the Rossoneri.
Menez scored impressive 15 goals in 28 league outings, but he has been largely disappointed with club’s failure to mount a serious challenge for European positions.
And with AC Milan highly unlikely to secure European football, the former PSG star is considering a summer exit.
Menez is clearly playing the best football of his career and he wants to join an ambitious club and compete in the Champions League next term.
Mostly thanks to the French winger, AC Milan returned to winning ways at the weekend, and they are 21/10 to see off Palermo after the international break.
