Menez will not leave Roma

Roma forward Jeremy Menez’s agent Jean Pierre Bernes insists his client will not leave Roma in January.

Menez has failed to impress in Roma, following his summer move from French side Monaco.

Reports have suggested that Menez could leave Roma on loan in January.

“Jeremy is fine and it’s normal for a young player to find it difficult to make an impact in a great club and in a new city,” the agent told Laroma24.it.

“There is no chance he will leave. Roma is an ideal side for him because it’s full of champions and they have a great coach.

“This is fundamental for a player who still needs to prove his worth in a big club.

“He knows he can learn more there and this is important.”
